policies. . .

***in addition to my regular policies, I like to ask and remind you to please not call to check on the status of your orders, proofing, reprints or other items. Returning numerous calls to let you know of no new news only takes up more of my time, which between my busy job and three busy kids can be streched thin as it is! I will notify you as soon as your items are available. Thank you in advance for your patience!***

1.) All images are copyrighted by photographer Patti Lehmann. It is illegal and unlawful to scan, copy, or reproduce Patti's work in any manner or medium and is punishable by law. Please respect your images as art, and have any reprints professionally done through Lehmann Photography. Thank you in advance for respecting Patti's work and livelihood by choosing not to reproduce her images.

2.) Print orders must be made and paid in full when you place your order. It is asked that all reprint orders be placed within 30 days following your session. For those previewing and ordering online, your online gallery expires within three months. It is highly recommended that you make your purchasing decisions within this time frame. If you would like to republish your gallery after it expires there is a $25 republishing fee. Any orders placed after a year will be subject to a $25 refiling fee.

3.) Please only bring the people that will be photographed to the session (unless you would like to bring a helper for a baby/child session!). Also, please do not bring your own camera, camcorder, or recording device to the session.

4.) Please have your child/children dressed and ready to go for the session (unless it is a newborn or small baby). This includes hair combing and having their faces clean; Children are more likely to become grouchy if they are fussed with too much before the session! Also try to have your baby or child fed and napped (if applicable!) before arriving to your session. Hungry and/or tired children are not always the happiest children, especially when it comes to having their portraits taken!

5.) Proofs from your session typically arrive within approximately 2 weeks from your session date. Your final print order will be delivered approximately 2-3 weeks after ordering. However, during our busy seasons this can not always be guaranteed. Canvas portraits and session albums may take up to 4-6 weeks. I (Patti) will contact you as soon as your items are done, and deliver/pickup arrangements will be made at that time.

6.) Handle your portraits with extreme care. Damage incurred as a result of improper handling, framing or hanging is the responsibility of the client.

7.) Due to the custom nature of each session, all sales final - proof books and reprints that are purchased are not returnable.

8.) Often times I will show an image in your proof book in both black & white and color. If purchasing a session album, you will not always receive both versions of an image; rather I will include whichever version is artistically more appealing.

9.) If your child is feeling under the weather, please call to reschedule. I understand that this happens, and would rather have a healthy happy child for your session instead of an unwell tired one! I just ask that you notify me as soon as possible so that I can reschedule my own day as needed. In addition, as most of you already know, I have three children of my own! In the unlikely event that I have a sick child on the day of our session I will notify you as soon as possible, and we can reschedule the session on a new day. Above all I am a mother, and like you I would rather be the one caring for my sick little one!

10.) Travel fees are applicable for sessions that take place outside of the Grandville/Grand Rapids area. Please inquire as each situation is unique.

11.) For payment, I accept cash and checks, as well as Visa and MasterCard.

12.) Checks returned by the bank, for any reason, will be charged a $25.00 service charge, and all orders will be cancelled if they are not paid in full within three days of notification.

13.) Lehmann Photography reserves the right to use the negatives and/or reproductions for display, publication, or other purposes. Negatives and originals remain the property of Lehmann Photography.
