our first day sessions are an incredible way to capture the beauty and wonder of your brand new baby! these sessions are held during your babies first week (I like to have the session before your baby is 10 days old...after this age they typically lose their newborn 'curl'. it is also common for newborns to develop newborn acne at around two weeks of age, and taking his or her portraits before two weeks helps us to avoid it.

newborn sessions can be conducted in the hospital (the day after birth) if you would like to capture a more photojournalistic feel to your portraits with our first day session, or we can conduct the session in studio with our newborn studio session if you would like a more creative take on your new little blessing!

these sessions are such a fantastic way to capture your first moments together; being a mother I know how special of a time it is, yet how quickly it all flies by! it is my honor and joy to be able to offer this to you and your family. it is truely an amazing time!

your first day session will include 24+ images, in both color and black & white, presented in a personalized baby album. duplicate albums or smaller albums are also available seperately. the album included is available to be upgraded to a leather bound book for an additional $40.00.

if you already know that you would like two extra albums, inaddition to the one that is included in the first day session, than the deluxe first day session package might be for you! it includes everythign that the first day session includes, with two more smaller albums - one for each set of new grandparents! see samples here
